Sal Petruzelli Marino, a long-time local from the Lambertville/Stockton area, began exploring photography as a surly teenager on the shores of Point Pleasant, NJ. Throughout the years, he has used photography not only to document the lives of his family and friends, but also to understand his surroundings with humor, tranquility, and consideration. He finds inspiration in the commonality of everyday experience, with an aim toward transforming the ordinary into something evocative.
Sal graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BA in Journalism and was an Editor with an international publishing company for 11 years. His four favorite subjects, Everett, Hemingway, Fitzgerald & Zora Neale (pictured above) own the house he & his wife Noelle maintain in Stockton.
